About me:

I graduated from Laurens-Marathon High School.  I then went to Simpson College and earned a B.A. in mathematics.  My first job was teaching 7-12 math at Baxter Community School.  While I was teaching there, I earned my Masters of School Mathematics from Iowa State University. After four years of teaching, I decided to stay home to raise my kids. I have taught classes part-time at DMACC since 2004.

I live in Slater with my husband Scott, our three girls, Emily, Kate, and Rachel.  In my free time, I like to read, sing, and play the piano. In the summers, we love to travel to amusement parks and ride roller coasters.  One summer, we spent 18 days at amusement parks and rode 39 different roller coasters.
